Write a reviewLovely design and quality as always, but runs small. I’ve bought another swimsuit from Frugi before (the “right” size for my child) and it was very small. I now went up a size and it fits just right,.
We brought 2set for our twins as they are prem the size of/ fit is pretty good although this sort of swim wear should be snug to help trap water between the garment and the skin to help keep warm when we,t a zip on the back or front would have been good to help get it off. We also brought the hats which are brilliant and the matching swim suits, although go for the one without frills and you can layer up, if needed.
Definitely size up. We bought this for my daughter who is two and a half. She is quite tall for her age, but is also slender (we often have trouble finding bottoms that don't fall down!) and it is so tight across her tummy it rides up, making it too short too. Unfortunately not enough time to return for the larger size before we go away, so will have to hope it grows a bit in the water... It's a shame as it's such a beautiful print and feels really good quality. Would have loved for this to have been able to last a bit longer.
It's such a shame that the waistband for the bottoms are sooo thin. It means it's not as comfortable as a wider waistband. Ultimately, we couldn't find what we wanted elsewhere so have decided to keep and use them for our 2 and 3.5yr old's. Definitely go up a size. It would have also been nice if there was a zip for the top as its going to be hard to get off them when wet. For the price, the design is gorgeous. It's a shame about the waistband issue.
